More Place Value?!

Well Here are some for you...
Dino Place Value - I think this would be a beginner activity since it only deals with two digits.

Place Value Darts - Here is an activity that uses place value and number facts to multiply and divide integers.

Bead Numbers
- Using beads, create even, and odd three digit numbers. A sample question is "Make the smallest even number using all four beads".

Shark Numbers
- If you use place value cubes, here is a good activity to reinforce the concept. Place value cubes are displayed with random numbers in bubbles. Get the question correct, move on to the next question. Get it wrong, a shark takes a bite out of your surf board. COWABUNGA!

Shark Numbers Version 2 - Same as above but if you get it correct, you get a dolphin. Miss the question, the shark takes a bite out of your boat.

Lifeguard
- More place value fun! I like this one because it stresses the use of 10's and 1's. It is only two digit numbers so this would be great as beginning game in the exploration of place value.

Place value Calculator
- On this page you can find a place value calculator. Great activity while you initially teach about place value, calculates up to four digits. Place Value Cards is another good resource for the same reason.
